The Kings House is a fine example of a timber framed house at the heart of the Black and White trail. The oldest part of the building was built in the early 16th Century and constructed from timber felled in the latter part of the 1400’s and built on a site previously occupied by a Medieval open hall. A first floor jetty on the north and south elevations and richly moulded ceiling beams on the ground floor suggests The Kings House was a significent building in the village of Pembridge.
